No. YELC is a tutorial program, not a substitute for after-school or summer child care. We work inside the hours your child is already enrolled in after-school or summer care, adding individualized tutoring on top of the supervision you already have in place.
No. We provide transportation, picking students up and bringing them home, so you don't have to find extra time to get your child to a tutor a couple of days a week.
Yes. About 90% of the students we serve have an IEP. Our instructors are trained to teach to the specialized instruction and related services outlined in each child's individual plan.
An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a legal plan for public school students with disabilities. It guarantees a child specialized instruction and related services tailored to their unique learning needs, under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
